And we still made it to Clarkesville in time to see Emily as "Footpad" in the play "Robin Hood: The Courtship of Allan A'Dale" at her school. As usual, she did a super job in the role.

We also took Jenny and Quang to SCADpad in Atlanta, an exhibit of creative housing in a parking garage in Atlanta. We were greeted by this giant chess set. The first pieces were formed on a 3-D printer!

Since the display was done by design students, it was very creative and artistic. In this "pad" (each one was the size of a parking space), you could touch the walls and hear different sounds in different spots, and the sounds themselves were always moving.

Clever use of space provided a place to study (students actually lived in these for short periods) with sleeping loft above.

The bathroom featured a mirror where you could check stock prices or check the weather while you were shaving (like a big iPhone).

Repurposing and recycling was a theme too.

Each pad utilized a second parking space for its "yard" but there were also large common spaces.

Letterboxing in Georgia took us to Stonewall Falls, where Emily and Jenny had fun in the water.

There were some unusual moths there that were a lovely bright blue when flying . . .

. . . but they are a dull gray when at rest. They were gathering in a fire pit and looked like ashes when they were at rest.
